Administration Center Addition Project

Focus on Sustainability and Innovation

  • Troy 30C is a community of parents, teachers, staff, and community members focused on building a brighter and healthier future for our children. Our forward thinking Administration and Board of Education have worked together in recent years to accomplish many projects including:

    • Implementation of an electrical infrastructure and conversion plan to convert our diesel and gasoline school buses to 100% electric zero emission school buses including future vehicle-to-grid technology

    • Geothermal heating and cooling system at Craughwell Elementary School

    • Solar panel system installed on 6 of our 7 schools that so far has produced over 2.5 million kWh of electricity in 3 years

    • District-wide LED lighting at all of our facilities

    • Building automation upgrades to our facilities to save energy on HVAC and lighting

    • Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization systems installed in all of our schools to increase indoor air quality during the Covid-19 pandemic

“Troy is a leader in the area when it comes to sustainability and innovation. We are proud of the improvements that we have made to our facilities and processes in order to better serve our students while keeping a focus on reducing our environmental impact.”
