Using feedback gathered from our community survey, focus groups, and discussion among Board Members, the Troy 30-C Board of Education will establish a Superintendent Profile highlighting the key strengths, qualifications, and vision needed to lead our district forward. The New Superintendent Profile will be available following final Board approval in mid-September.

Phase A: July - September

• Board of Education and Superintendent Search Firm Consultant held planning meeting and established the search timeline
• Focus Group Meeting will take place to gather input for the development of the New Superintendent Profile
• A survey will be shared with the community
• Superintendent position is posted - Click Here to Apply

Phase B: September

• New Superintendent Profile will be established and posted on the Troy 30-C website 

Phase C: September - October

• Superintendent Search Firm Consultant will recruit candidates
• Superintendent Search Firm will begin viewing and vetting candidates
• Superintendent Search Firm will conduct screener interviews

Phase D: October

• Board of Education will conduct the first round of interviews
• Board of Education will conduct the second and final round of interviews

Phase E: November - December

• Board of Education will select and vet the top candidate, conduct reference calls, and negotiate a contract with the selected candidate

Phase F: December - January

• Board of Education will take formal action on the new Superintendent contract

 To ensure as many voices as possible are heard, the Troy 30-C Board of Education will seek input from Troy 30-C staff, parent(s)/guardians, and Troy 30-C community members through focus groups and a community survey.

• The focus group meeting consisting of a group of Troy 30-C staff members will be held on September 2, 2026
• The community survey was available September 3 - September 10. All responses from the survey are anonymous, confidential, and delivered directly to the Superintendent Search Firm Consultant.
