The Board of Education is pleased to announce the establishment of a Stakeholder Task Force to participate in the second-round interviews of candidates in the search for the district’s next superintendent.
The formation of this task force reflects the Board’s commitment to engaging stakeholder perspectives and ensuring that the search process benefits from a range of voices and insights. The task force will have an opportunity to provide input and feedback as candidates are considered during this important stage of the process.
While stakeholder participation is a valuable component of the search, it is important to clarify that the ultimate responsibility and authority for selecting and hiring the next superintendent rests solely with the Board of Education. The Stakeholder Task Force will serve in an advisory capacity, offering perspectives to inform the Board’s deliberations. The Board will make the final decision regarding the selection and appointment of the district’s next superintendent.
The Board of Education remains committed to conducting a thoughtful, transparent, and thorough search process focused on identifying a leader who will best serve the district’s students, staff, families, and broader community.
We appreciate the continued interest, engagement, and support of our school community throughout this important process.
