  • Focus Group Meeting Recap

    On September 16, 2023, the School District's strategic planning focus group convened for a productive and insightful meeting at the District Office. The purpose of this meeting was to gather input and ideas from various stakeholders in our educational community to shape the district's strategic priorities for the coming years.

    Key Highlights from the Meeting:

    Diverse Participation: The meeting witnessed a diverse turnout, with representation from teachers, parents, students, administrators, community leaders, and school board members. This diversity ensured a wide range of perspectives were considered.

    Engaging Discussions: The participants engaged in dynamic discussions about the district's strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth. They shared their experiences, concerns, and aspirations for the district and the future.

    Identified Priorities: Several key priorities emerged from the discussions, including enhanced academic progress, responsive facilities allocation, social emotional support and belonging, developed engagement and partnerships, and workforce enhancement. These priorities will play a pivotal role in shaping the district's future direction.

    Next Steps: The valuable input and insights gathered during this focus group meeting will be synthesized and used to refine the school district's strategic plan.
